Do you think it will sell?\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few years ago, I embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure with an idea I thought was revolutionary. I invested time, energy, and financial resources, convinced it would be a resounding success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, despite all my efforts, the project failed. I found myself wondering what had gone wrong. I shared my experience with friends and family, hoping to get answers. But the response was always the same: \"It's a good idea, it should have worked.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yet, as time passed, I realized that good ideas don't always suffice. You also need a market ready to embrace them and customers willing to pay for the proposed solution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Even Big Companies Face Epic Failures<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Take, for instance, Google Glass, an impressive innovation at first glance but failed to gain traction in the market. Despite cutting-edge technology and revolutionary potential, consumers weren't ready to adopt this new form of wearable technology, ultimately leading to the discontinuation of their production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another striking example is Google's social network, Google+, launched in 2011 to compete with Facebook. Despite Google's substantial resources and an existing user base, Google+ never managed to capture social media users' attention in the same way as Facebook or Twitter. Ultimately, Google announced the closure of Google+ in 2019, ending an attempt to compete in the social networking arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These examples highlight the fact that in technology, having an innovative idea or cutting-edge technology isn't enough. You also need to understand the market, user needs, and be able to address those needs effectively and profitably. It's this understanding of the market and users that often separates successes from failures in the technology field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Taking a Step Back<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>So, I decided to step back and think about what had truly caused my project to fail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une des premi\u00e8res le\u00e7ons que j&rsquo;ai apprises est qu&rsquo;interroger ses proches avec des questions comme \u00ab\u00a0Que penses-tu de cette id\u00e9e ? Dans le monde des affaires, il est important de ne pas accorder aveugl\u00e9ment sa confiance \u00e0 ses amis ou \u00e0 sa famille. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Souvent, ils ont tendance \u00e0 vouloir vous faire plaisir en r\u00e9pondant ce qu&rsquo;ils pensent que vous voulez entendre, ou \u00e0 vous dissuader d&rsquo;explorer des voies qui les inqui\u00e8tent parce qu&rsquo;ils ne comprennent pas les d\u00e9fis de l&rsquo;entrepreneuriat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De plus, les opinions peuvent changer d\u00e8s lors que de l&rsquo;argent r\u00e9el est en jeu, ce qui fait que le portefeuille financier de quelqu&rsquo;un parle bien plus fort que ses paroles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning to Ask the Right Questions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Puis, \u00e0 un moment donn\u00e9, j&rsquo;ai eu une r\u00e9v\u00e9lation. J&rsquo;ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que je n&rsquo;avais pas fait une \u00e9valuation approfondie du march\u00e9 et que je n&rsquo;avais pas vraiment compris les besoins des clients potentiels. C&rsquo;est \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0 que j&rsquo;ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 appliquer une approche plus m\u00e9thodique pour \u00e9valuer mes id\u00e9es d&rsquo;entreprise et de startups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au fil des \u00e9checs, j&rsquo;ai acquis en exp\u00e9rience et en sagesse, et j&rsquo;ai d\u00e9couvert que poser les bonnes questions est tout un art. Aujourd&rsquo;hui, lorsque je suis confront\u00e9 \u00e0 une nouvelle id\u00e9e, je me pose ces questions cruciales:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Does this solve a real problem?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do the people who want to solve this problem have money to buy my solution?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can I find people with this problem?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the future, will more people have this problem?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If the answers to these questions are positive, I know I have a good foundation to pursue my project. Then, I move on to the next step: validating my idea in the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Valider son id\u00e9e sur le March\u00e9 avec des M\u00e9thodes Pratiques et Rapides<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9tape suivante consiste \u00e0 se confronter \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 du march\u00e9 le plus vite possible. Pour cela, il existe plusieurs m\u00e9thodes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une approche que j&rsquo;ai trouv\u00e9e efficace est de cr\u00e9er une page de vente avec un bouton de paiement. Mais de simuler un \u00e9chec lors du processus de paiement. Vous comptez en revanche chaque tentative de paiement. Cela me permet de mesurer l&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat des clients potentiels sans avoir \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper \u00e0 l&rsquo;avance le produit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une autre approche encore, est de mettre en place une strat\u00e9gie de pr\u00e9-lancement en expliquant le probl\u00e8me et la solution sur un site web, une vid\u00e9o ou les r\u00e9seaux sociaux. J&rsquo;invite les int\u00e9ress\u00e9s \u00e0 s&rsquo;inscrire \u00e0 ma liste de diffusion, moyennant un petit frais par exemple seulement 1\u20ac pour \u00eatre parmi les premiers \u00e0 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d&rsquo;un acc\u00e8s anticip\u00e9. Si vous avez une certaine port\u00e9e avec votre offre mais que personne ne l&rsquo;ach\u00e8te, cela signifie probablement que ce projet, m\u00eame si vous le d\u00e9veloppiez, ne rapportera jamais d&rsquo;argent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En adoptant cette approche, je parviens dor\u00e9navant \u00e0 \u00e9viter de nombreux pi\u00e8ges de l&rsquo;entrepreneuriat et maximiser mes chances de succ\u00e8s. Alors, la prochaine fois que vous avez une id\u00e9e, pensez \u00e0 vous assurer de faire une \u00e9valuation concr\u00e8te et pratique avant d&rsquo;investir beaucoup de temps et d&rsquo;efforts. Cela pourrait faire toute la diff\u00e9rence entre un \u00e9chec et un succ\u00e8s retentissant.
